HammerheadFistpunch’s post reminded me I did this on Christmas. It was going to be my Merry Christmas Oppo post, but Kinja had other ideas. So without further ado, Merry New Year Oppo! This place is great, keep it up.

Besides your awesome BMW’s, I’m hoping this beer was not forgotten.

It most certainly was not! Also, one isn’t a BMW, but it does have a “Hofmeister kink.” :)

Did you get the Schrick over there? Glad to see the Flavia makes itself useful for storage ;-)

I got loads of stuff from Ireland Engineering, but the Schrick came from Maximillian if i recall correctly. The poor Flavia, Italian surfboard support! I'm half through cleaning the garage, a long term project, so it won't be holding it for long now.

Nice 02! Why don’t you just DD this as a replacement for the Fairlane?

Because it's just a shell at this point and I haven't got time or money for it at the moment, unfortunately. Someday though, I would like to daily it.

Which project is more important to you, the 02 or the Lancia (or whatever other project car you could somehow havr up your sleeve)? Just curious.

Hard to say which is more important. The 02 is closer to the road and I've had it longer, but the Lancia was my grandfather’s. The Lancia will take more money and hard to find parts to make run, so I'd like to get the 02 back on track first. I like driving a simpler, cheaper classic in the meantime though, a purpose the Fairlane served well.
